Maybe you've been trying to ignore it. Avoiding thinking about the birth. Convincing yourself you'll be fine. But underneath, the anxiety is there the moment you wake up. The appointments feel hard. The what-ifs won't stop.
That makes complete sense. What you went through left a mark on your nervous system, on your confidence, on the way you feel about birth. And a standard antenatal class was never going to be enough for that.
Birth Without Fear was built for exactly this. Not to push the fear away, but to understand it, work with it, and help you feel genuinely prepared for the birth ahead.
You're pregnant again after a difficult or traumatic pregnancy, birth or postnatal experience, and the fear has come back with this pregnancy
You find yourself avoiding thinking about the birth, because even imagining it makes your chest tight
You've tried to stay positive but the what-ifs won't stop, you're exhausted by the constant worry
You want to feel calm and prepared, not just survive the birth, but feel genuinely supported through it
You want to learn tools that actually work, not generic advice to just relax and think positive
You want support from someone who truly understands perinatal trauma, not just birth preparation
Each lesson is short, self-paced, and designed to work with your nervous system, not against it. Work through it in your own time, at your own pace, from wherever you are.

I had a real fear of giving birth and Katie made me feel confident and reassured. I was able to use all of the techniques that she taught us. I would recommend Birthcare with Katie to everyone preparing for the birth of a child.

She gave me the confidence to stand up for myself at the hospital. I'm not sure we would have had even half as wonderful a pregnancy end if it wasn't for this lady. We will be using the skills she gave us in our future pregnancies.

We have come out the other side feeling very confident and with all the tools we need. On a personal level I feel very calm, a lot of people have commented that I seem very relaxed and in a very good mind space. We are now looking forward to meeting our baby with no real fear.

I've spent over ten years working in the NHS, first as a midwife, and now as a Mental Health Midwife specialising in perinatal trauma. Every day I work with people who are exactly where you are right now: pregnant again, scared, and desperately wanting this time to be different.
Birth Without Fear is techniques I use in my work, structured into a course you can work through at your own pace, in your own home, at any time of day or night. The techniques are grounded in CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care.
You deserve support that truly understands what you've been through. This is that support.
Five minutes a day. Small steps. That's all this asks of you. And sometimes that's exactly enough to shift things for you.

Why early access pricing?
I'm limiting this first group to make sure every person gets the support they deserve. In return for joining at this early access price, I'd love your honest feedback, your experience will directly shape how this course grows. This isn't a marketing tactic. When these spaces are gone, the price goes up.
Is this right for me if my trauma wasn't from the birth itself?
Absolutely. This course is designed for anyone who has experienced a difficult or traumatic pregnancy, birth or postnatal experience. If you are fearful again as a result of something frightening or overwhelming during the perinatal period, this is for you. Trauma is defined by how it felt, not what objectively happened.
How much time will I need each week?
Each lesson is short, most videos are between 10 and 15 minutes. But the real value comes from the reflection and daily practices in between. Small steps, done consistently, are what create change, and the sooner you start, the more you'll notice before your baby arrives.
That said, this isn't about racing through. Work at a pace that feels manageable. You have lifetime access so you can revisit any lesson as many times as you need, for this pregnancy and if you need this again for a future one.

I'm already quite far along in my pregnancy, is it too late?
It's not too late. Many people start this course in their third trimester and find it enormously helpful. The tools in this course can be learned and practised in a short time, and some of the most effective techniques take just minutes to complete.
I'm already seeing a therapist. Will this work alongside that?
Yes - this course works well alongside therapy. It's not a replacement for one-to-one clinical support, but it provides practical tools and education that complement therapeutic work beautifully. If you're on a waiting list, this course can give you something supportive to hold onto in the meantime.
What if I'm having a caesarean?
The course is fully inclusive of all birth types. There are specific sections focused on caesarean birth, dedicated caesarean birth rehearsal meditations, and a caesarean birth journey worksheet. Everything in this course has been designed to work whatever type of birth you have.
What's the payment plan?
You can pay in full at £147, or choose the payment plan of 3 × £52. The payments are spread over three months. Both options give you immediate full access to everything in the course from day one.
You've already taken the first brave step, you're here, you're preparing, you're doing everything you can for yourself and your baby. Let me help you with the rest.
